Bubba Cup

For the past five years, friends and family have hosted a golf tournament in memory of Colin Anderson, affectionately known as Bubba. Bubba faced Parkinson’s disease with remarkable strength and humour, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Colin Anderson, affectionately known as Bubba, faced Parkinson’s Disease for nearly 20 years with unwavering grace, strength, and a brilliant sense of humour. A former Concordia University Football Quarterback and Sports Hall of Fame member, his love for sports brought joy to many. With kindness and generosity, he built a vast circle of friends throughout his journey. For the past six years, friends and family have come together to honour his memory through this golf tournament.
Join us in celebrating his legacy alongside family, friends, and the Passion for Parkinson’s Foundation at the Bubba Cup! More details will follow soon. This tournament features a morning shotgun start in a scramble format, including breakfast, golf with a cart, and a delicious dinner afterward.
Look out for the announcement of our silent auction and raffle in the first week of August.
Enjoy a putting contest and compete in “Closest to the Bubba Pin” and “Bubba’s Longest Drive” challenges!
Last year, they raised over $19,000 to support PFPF’s free exercise programs. This year the proceeds from this tournament will continue to fuel PFPF’s free arts and exercise programs, making a meaningful difference in our Parkinson’s community. Join us for this inspiring day!
