Pedaling With Passion

1 Man
13 Days
5800 Kilometers
In June 2025 Oliver Dowd will be riding across Canada to raise money for the Passion for Parkinson’s Foundation in memory of his grandfather who passed away due to complications from Parkinson’s 2 years ago. (The image on the right is Oliver’s grandfather boxing with Passion for Parkinson’s)

He has already ridden across Canada once, so to make things more interesting this time he will be attempting to break the current cross country record of 13 days. The journey will be 5800 kms which ends up being 450kms per day if he is to arrive in 13 days. This is roughly equivalent to biking from Toronto to Ottawa every day, for 13 days straight.
A trip this ambitious is not possible on his own so he will have a full support crew of friends who will be driving alongside him. The crew will make sure that he is safe and also help by supplying him with food and water so he doesn’t have to stop during the day.
In addition he has two different bikes which he will be switching between depending on the terrain.
Join us in supporting Oliver as he embarks on this inspiring ride across Canada to raise awareness for Parkinson’s Disease. His determination and courage are truly commendable, and we are grateful for his commitment to our Foundation.

Your contributions will directly fund our 21 free exercise programs, which provide vital support to those living with Parkinson’s Disease and their families.
Together, we can make a significant impact!
